So this summer we’ve fallen of the wagon with regular sessions. They will be resuming now! Saturdays at 1pm at Palmer. No mid-week session for now. If you want to start one, post a comment letting us know the suggested time and place.

In order to skool for the upcoming jam, and just to be able to play more footbag in general I’ve having 30-40 minute mini sessions several days this week, usually during my lunch break at work. It’s been a lot of fun playing every day, and I can feel some concepts getting more solid.
Highlights from this week:
I just wrapped up a 5 session week! Man, did I ever need it. I’ve lost a lot of consistency and run length, and have slowly begun to build it back. 5 may have been one too many, as I started to feel shin splints at the end of today’s session. Anyway, it’s just been great to get out there and play so much, I’m definitely keeping this up.

This Saturday we will be having our footbag session at FRANKENBIKE. What’s Frankenbike you ask? It’s a bike swap meet that happens once a month at different locations around town. This week it’s at:
It sure was a cold one! But I had to get out there and shred. Been schooling the basics a lot, but also fooled around with some other concepts.

-Toe muted clipper > Merkon > RPT (tricky, but lots of fun!)

-~25 contact guiltless run with several 4s thrown in including ripwalk b2b

I’ve shredded 3 out of the last 4 days, feeling great! Only 2 1/2 weeks to get ready for the jam!
Winter has finally found its way down to Austin. It’s been in the 30s and 40s this week. Not good footbag weather! We never play indoors. Well, Cody and I had a session Wednesday night anyway. Neither of us hit anything that great, but it was good just to get out and kick the bag around.
